If someone in your family or a friend sent you a LeMoove invite code, this is the right guide. In under a minute you’ll join the group and start seeing, and being seen, on the map.
Before you start
- Install the app and create your account (see Getting started with LeMoove).
- Have the invite code at hand. It stays active for 2 days from when it was created.
1. Open the join screen
Got a link? Tap it on your phone: LeMoove opens right on the invite (sign in first if asked) and you can skip to step 3.
Otherwise:
- Open your Profile and tap My Groups.
- At the top of the screen, tap the Join Group icon.
2. Scan the QR code or type the code
- Have the QR code in front of you? Tap Scan QR code and point the camera at it.
- Got the code? Below “or type the code”, type the full code and tap Proceed.
3. Check and join
- The app shows the Group, the Administrator and the Other Members. Make sure it’s the right group.
- Tap Join Group.
4. Allow location
To appear on the group’s map, location must be allowed on your phone, ideally as Always (iPhone) or Allow all the time (Android).
What changes after you join
- You see the location of the group’s members, each phone’s battery and how long each person has been where they are.
- Group members see your location, your trip history and your battery.
- You can talk in the group chat.
- You can leave the group whenever you want: in My Groups, tap Leave Group. Whoever leaves stops seeing and being seen.

If something doesn’t work
- “Please fill in the entire invite code”: the code has more characters. Check the message you received.
- “Invalid invite code”: the code expired or was mistyped. Ask the group’s admin for a new one.
- “No group found”: the code doesn’t match an active group. Ask for a new code.
- “Your current plan holds only one group”: on the Free plan, each person can be in 1 group, and the screen shows the plans instead of the join button. Paid plans have unlimited groups.
