How to use the LeMoove SOS button to ask for help with your location
The SOS button tells the people in your groups that you need help and shows where you are. Learn how to use it and how to cancel an accidental tap.

One tap to ask the people close to you for help
The SOS button tells the people in your groups you need help and shows where you are, until you say you're safe. A 10-second countdown prevents accidental alerts. It's part of every plan, including Free.
How it works

Tap SOS
The red SOS button is on the map, on the app's main screen.

10 seconds to cancel
A countdown starts. If it was an accident, cancel before it ends.

Your groups are alerted
The people in the groups you chose receive your call for help with your location, as an emergency notification.
What the call for help includes

Your location
Your position at the moment of the call and your route over the last half hour, ready to open on the map and get directions.

Battery and speed
Whoever receives it sees your phone's battery and whether you're on the move.

A ready conversation
The call also arrives in your chat with each person, where you can keep talking.

Emergency notification
The alert goes out on the phone's emergency channel, apart from regular messages.
Followed through to the end
The call for help stays active until someone closes it. Meanwhile, the “Help request active” screen shows the same thing to you and to whoever received it.

Closes the call and lets everyone know you're fine.

Send my location now
Sends a fresh position right away, if you've moved.

Cancel alert
If the call went out by mistake, whoever received it is told it was cancelled.

Who gets my SOS
In Profile › Privacy and safety, you choose which groups are alerted. A new group joins the list on its own.
Questions about SOS
Does LeMoove call the police or an ambulance?
No. SOS alerts the people in your groups. LeMoove isn't an emergency service: if you're in danger, call your local emergency number.
What if I tap it by accident?
You have 10 seconds to cancel before the call for help is sent. After that, you can still tap “Cancel alert”, and whoever received it is told.
Who receives the call for help?
The people in your groups. In Profile › Privacy and safety › Who gets my SOS, you can take a group off the list. Someone who is in more than one group receives it if at least one of those groups is on.
Do I need a paid plan to use SOS?
No. SOS is part of every plan, including Free.
