Pets

Your pet on the map, right next to the family

The app already supports pets as a device type: with a GPS tracker on the collar, your pet shows up on the map next to the people. We're choosing the right collar tracker to supply, and it's coming soon.

How it works

  1. The tracker (coming soon)

We're choosing the right collar tracker, with its own battery and a data SIM. It will be supplied by LeMoove.

  2. Add your pet

In the app, scan the QR code on the box, choose the pet type, add a name and a photo.

  3. Mark home

Create a Home place and pick your pet: you get an alert when they leave or come back.

What you can follow

  • Where they are

Your pet on the map, with their photo, next to the people in your group.

  • Left or came back

An alert when your pet leaves or arrives Home, at the farm or any place you mark.

  • Where they went

Positions from the last 30 days, to understand the path of an escape.

  • Offline

An alert when the tracker stops communicating, for example when its battery runs low.

  • Still for too long

An alert when your pet stays in the same spot away from home for a long time.

  • The whole family follows along

Share your pet with anyone you choose in the group: everyone sees them and gets the alerts.

Needs a phone nearby?
No, the tracker has its own GPS and SIM

We're testing collar models: battery life and device size weigh most in the choice.

Collar tracker: coming soon

We don't supply a pet tracker yet. We're researching the right model, with its own battery and a data SIM, and we'll announce it here when it's available.

Questions about pets

Does a Bluetooth tag work for a pet?

Not very well. A tag has no GPS: it only shows up when it passes near your phone with the app open. To find a pet that ran away, a GPS tracker with a SIM is the right choice.

Does the tracker need a phone nearby?

No. It has its own GPS and data SIM and sends its position by itself.

How long does the battery last?

It depends on the model, and it's one of the criteria we're using to choose the collar tracker. It also changes with the reporting interval: sending more often uses more battery.

Who gets the alert when my pet leaves home?

The people you picked for that place, among those the pet is shared with.
